GTU Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar visits the stands and interacts directly with the students.
During the ongoing university preference period, Gebze Technical University (GTU) continues to draw significant attention with its promotional activities aimed at prospective students. The promotional stands set up at the GTU Congress and Cultural Center have become a frequent destination for candidates and their families looking to shape their future.
Standing out with its strong academic staff, research-oriented education approach, and close ties with industry, GTU is capturing the attention of young people in the preference process. At the promotional area, faculty members from all departments, relevant administrative staff, and representatives from student societies are present to provide detailed information about the university and its departments.
GTU Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar has also visited the promotional area, having conversations with prospective students and their families and answering their questions about the university.
Throughout the promotional event, candidates are offered comprehensive information not only about academic programs but also about GTU's scholarship opportunities, campus life, student societies' activities, and career support services.
Held under the slogan “Turn Your Dream Into Reality, Spread Your Wings to the Future at GTU!”, the GTU Promotion Days began on July 23, 2025, and will continue until August 5, 2025. The event is open to visitors every day, including weekends, between 10:00 AM and 4:30 PM. It provides an opportunity for innovative and research-oriented candidates interested in science and technology to explore what GTU has to offer.
This year, GTU is preparing to offer education in a total of 23 departments across five faculties and one vocational school. Beginning with the 2025–2026 academic year, three new undergraduate programs, Data Science and Analytics, Industrial Design, and Management Information Systems, will accept students for the first time. These programs, designed in line with the needs of the digital age, further strengthen GTU’s vision grounded in innovation and science.
