The Model-Based Systems Engineering Training Program is successfully completed through university-industry sector collaboration at GTU.
The certificate ceremony for the "Model-Based Systems Engineering Training Program," organized collaboratively by Gebze Technical University (GTU) Career and Professional Development Application and Research Center (KAGEM) and FİGES A.Ş. BuildUp Academy, was held at the GTU Congress and Cultural Center. Students who qualified to participate in the five-week hybrid training received their certificates during the ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by GTU Vice-Rector Prof. Hasari Çelebi, KAGEM Director Prof. Mustafa Türkmen, FİGES A.Ş. Academic Sales Group Manager İrem Uncu, Marketing and Business Development Group Manager Cihan Şahin, KAGEM staff, and students.
In his speech, Vice-Rector Prof. Hasari Çelebi emphasized the importance of the program: “Our aim here is to equip our students with new skills and competencies demanded by companies in the market. As conditions change, so do these skills, and we are committed to continuously supporting our students in this regard.”
At the end of the training, participation certificates were awarded by Vice-Rector Prof. Hasari Çelebi to mechanical engineering student Ebubekir Şenoğlu and electronics engineering students Burak Balkan, Serdar Başyemenici, Cesur Bayram, and Ahmet Ali Tilkicioğlu. The program, which started on February 24, 2025, aimed to develop students’ competencies in model-based systems engineering. |
