Gebze Technical University (GTU) VALORANT and League of Legends Esports teams achieve great success in the Turkish University Sports Federation's Ünilig Esports Qualifiers, advancing to the semifinals. The teams are to represent GTU in the finals, which will be held in Kayseri from May 13 to 15, 2025, aiming for the championship.
The GTU Esports VALORANT team consists of: Kılıçarslan Atila, Tuna Aytuğ Ersöz, Ömer Buğra Ateş, Mert Kaya, Tarık Efe Diler, Görkem Kılıçoğlu, and Cenker Güreşçi.
The GTU Esports League of Legends team includes: Alper Tavşanoğlu, Kağan Arda Uslu, Taner Bayram, Ömer Faruk Sezer, Muhammet Taha Aydoğdu, Emre Akpınar, and Resul Talha Açıkgöz.
The GTU Esports teams, which drew attention with their outstanding performance in their first tournament, were congratulated by Bülent Çetin, GTU Director of Health, Culture and Sports. Director Çetin met with the team captain, Kılıçarslan Atila, and conveyed his best wishes for their success.
