Gebze Technical University (GTU) takes an important step towards collaboration by hosting Feridun Hamdullahpur, the Rector of International Business University (IBU) from Canada, and Serdar Mutlu, the Founder of IBU.
The meeting, hosted by GTU Rector Hacı Ali Mantar, was attended by Vice-Rectors Prof. Hasari Çelebi and Prof. Elif Damla Arısan, various faculty deans, and members of the International Cooperation Office. During the meeting, potential collaboration areas between the two universities were discussed in a cordial atmosphere. The discussions particularly focused on artificial intelligence programs, business management, and dual degree programs that would provide international experience for students.
Another important outcome of the visit was the signing of a memorandum of understanding that formalized the desire and intention of both institutions to collaborate. This agreement is expected to pave the way for joint projects and academic exchange programs between GTU and IBU.
This collaboration is seen as a strategic move towards increasing Gebze Technical University’s presence on the international stage and offering its students a global vision. With this partnership with International Business University, GTU students will have more opportunities to receive education at international standards and experience different cultures. |
