The project on e-commerce fraud led by Assoc. Prof. Farid Huseynov, a faculty member of the Department of Management Information Systems at GTU Faculty of Business Administration, becomes entitled for support under the TÜBİTAK 3005 program.

The project titled “Early Detection of Fraudulent Listings and Ensuring Sustainable Security through Artificial Intelligence-Based Solutions on Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C) E-Commerce Platforms”, conducted under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Farid Huseynov, with Assoc. Prof. Büşra Özdenizci-Köse and Assoc. Prof. Serhat Erat as researchers, has been approved for support within the scope of TÜBİTAK 3005 - Innovative Solutions in Social Sciences and Humanities Research Projects Funding Program.

The project aims to develop an innovative artificial intelligence and machine learning-based model to detect fraudulent listings on C2C (Consumer-to-Consumer) e-commerce platforms, where transactions occur directly between users.

The outcomes of the project are expected to contribute to policy development processes in the fight against fraud on e-commerce platforms. With the help of the AI-based model to be developed, earlier detection of fake listings, enhanced user security, and support for a more sustainable digital commerce environment are among the main objectives.
