GTU once again proves its commitment to quality and excellence in education with FEDEK accreditation of its Department of Chemistry
Gebze Technical University (GTU) Faculty of Science has achieved a significant milestone with the accreditation of its Department of Chemistry by FEDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Programs in Faculties of Science, Arts, Science and Letters, Language, and History-Geography) for a period of five years. This development marks a major success and means that all departments within the faculty are now accredited by FEDEK.
Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar expressed his satisfaction with this achievement, stating: “The FEDEK accreditation of our Department of Chemistry is a significant indicator of our university’s education quality and compliance with national standards. Having all departments of our Faculty of Science accredited is an important step in our university’s journey toward academic excellence.
This accreditation has once again emphasized our commitment to providing the highest quality education and academic experience for our students and our priority to offer the best opportunities for their future careers. Moreover, the FEDEK accreditation will enhance the national and international recognition of our graduates and provide them with significant advantages in their careers.
The accreditation process is part of our continuous efforts to improve and develop our educational programs. While our university continues to pursue excellence in education with its quality-oriented approach, we extend our congratulations to all academic staff, administrative staff, and students who have contributed to this achievement."
The Faculty of Engineering at Gebze Technical University (GTU) holds MÜDEK accreditation for its Departments of Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Materials Science and Engineering; the Faculty of Science holds FEDEK accreditation for its Departments of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Molecular Biology and Genetics; and the Faculty of Architecture is accredited by MİAK. |
