A protocol titled "University-Solution Partnership/University-Industry Collaboration Proposals" is signed between Gebze Technical University (GTU) and the Faydasıçok Education Foundation.
Aiming to foster experience sharing between industry and academia through solution-oriented university-industry collaboration, the protocol was signed at the GTU Rectorate by GTU Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar and Hasan Faydasıçok Education Foundation Chair Selcen Faydasıçok. The signing ceremony was attended by officials from the Hasan Faydasıçok Education Foundation and GTU Career Development Center Director Prof. Mustafa Türkmen.
This protocol is of great significance in strengthening university-industry collaboration, providing students with industry experience, supporting their professional development, and facilitating their access to new technologies. Additionally, it aims to contribute to the development of both institutions through joint projects in areas such as field research, needs analysis, technology transfer, vocational training, and R&D.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, GTU Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating: "The protocol signed between our university and the Faydasıçok Education Foundation aims to enable our students to receive education in close connection with the industry, apply their theoretical knowledge in practice, and enhance their employment opportunities after graduation. University-industry collaboration is one of the most crucial ways to gain a competitive advantage and add value to society in today’s world.
