The project "Design and Development of Ambient Backscatter IoT Communication for Sustainable Environments (DABICSE)", led by Asst. Prof. Muhammad Sohaib Jamal Solaija, Assistant Professor at Gebze Technical University (GTU) Institute of Defense Technologies, is accepted under the TÜBİTAK 2553 Bilateral Cooperation Support Program with the Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF).
The project will be carried out in collaboration with GTU, the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Pakistan, Vestel Elektronik San. ve Tic. A.Ş., Cosmotech Technologies Ltd. Şti., and Istanbul Medipol University.
DABICSE focuses on developing an innovative, domestic, and state-of-the-art ambient backscatter communication technology for Internet of Things (IoT) applications aimed at ensuring sustainability, particularly in challenging and remote environments. The developed technology is expected to be utilized in various fields, including smart agriculture, environmental monitoring, disaster management, and industrial automation. |
