Gebze Technical University (GTU), which continues its international collaborations without slowing down, signs a memorandum of understanding with Bishop Heber College, one of India's prestigious educational institutions.
The memorandum of understanding was signed in the GTU Senate Meeting Hall by GTU Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar and Bishop Heber College (BHC) Principal Dr. J. Princy Merlin. With this memorandum, collaborations will be carried out between the two educational institutions in such areas as student and staff exchange, joint research projects, and many other fields.
Commenting on the MoU, GTU Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar stated, "GTU places great importance on international collaborations. In this context, we have signed an agreement with Bishop Heber College. This agreement paves the way for cooperation in areas such as student and staff exchange and joint research projects." The GTU Rector emphasized that with these international collaborations, they aim to enhance global experience, expand scientific knowledge, and strengthen the university’s position in the international arena.
With the MoU, between GTU and BHC, both institutions aim to collaborate by seeking mutually beneficial ways to support science, technology, and innovation in their respective countries and abroad, as well as to promote international education and research collaboration. They intend to facilitate information exchange, student/faculty exchange, academic and/or industrial research opportunities, and participation in joint academic and/or industrial projects, programs, and activities. |
