GTU gets ranked in the 601-800 band worldwide in the subject area of life sciences and once again proves its academic impact at global standards.
Times Higher Education (THE), one of the UK's prestigious academic ranking organizations, has ranked universities worldwide by subject areas in the THE World University Rankings by Subject 2025. Gebze Technical University (GTU) has been listed in the 601-800 band in life sciences, in the 801-1000 band in computer science, in the 1001+ band in engineering, and in the 1000+ band in physical sciences, continuing to maintain its international influence.
For the rankings, universities are evaluated based on performance criteria such as teaching (lthe earning environment), research (volume, income, and reputation), citations (research impact), international outlook (staff, students, and level of research), industry income (knowledge transfer), and research quality.
