The McSteam research group, which includes Assoc. Prof. Hakan Oflaz and Research Assistant Muhammed Tarık Çöpoğlu from the Department of Bioengineering at Gebze Technical University (GTU), wins fifth-place at the StartCup Campania 2024 competition held in Italy.
The McSteam research group consists of Assoc. Prof. Alberto Zullo and Prof. Francesco Paolo Mancini from the University of Sannio in Italy, Prof. Werner Klingler from the Technical University of Munich in Germany, Assoc. Prof. Hakan Oflaz from GTU, and Muhammed Tarık Çöpoğlu, MSc.
McSteam, a collaborative effort between three different countries and universities, focuses on significant studies aimed at investigating the in vitro mechanisms by which environmental mechanical signals are perceived by cells and the responses they trigger.
