Mahmut Can Sözeri, a doctoral student from the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at GTU, gets accepted by and participates in Take Off Istanbul 2024 with his venture.
Take Off Istanbul 2024, which started with a presentation by Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, hosted both national and international investors and technology startups. Organized by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation, Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, and the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Investment Office, Take Off Istanbul 2024, held at the Istanbul Expo Center, brought together key components of the global entrepreneurship ecosystem.
GTU student Mahmut Can Sözeri participated in the event, which was held on December 11-12, 2024, with his venture, Heysem Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Inc. (Heysem AI), which he co-founded, based on the achievements he gained during his doctoral studies. Take Off Istanbul 2024 is known as an event which thousands of ventures apply to be a part of, and only a limited number are accepted.
Mahmut Can Sözeri’s venture, Heysem AI, optimizes labor productivity in manufacturing by using patented AI algorithms with existing IP cameras and provides sensorless, real-time performance analysis.
