Gebze Technical University (GTU) reaps the rewards of its commitment to environmental issues and its efforts in this area by ranking in the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025. GTU ranks 562nd globally and 7th in Türkiye in the environmental impact category.
The QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025, one of the prestigious university rankings prepared by QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), has been announced. Universities in this ranking are evaluated based on factors such as their environmental impact, waste management, energy use, and water usage. Among nearly 2,000 universities assessed, GTU has continued its upward trajectory. Recognized for its significant global standing in environmental impact, GTU has secured the 562nd place worldwide and 7th place in Türkiye in the environmental impact category.
GTU Rector Prof. Hacı Ali Mantar, in his statement regarding the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025, expressed pride and motivation at the global acknowledgment of GTU's pioneering research in environmental sustainability. Prof. Mantar stated, "This ranking highlights that our university has taken significant steps in environmental sustainability and is recognized globally in this field. This achievement is a source of pride for our students, staff, and stakeholders. With this motivation, our university will continue to accelerate its efforts in the field of environmental sustainability in the future." |
