The 19th International Strategic Management Conference is held in a hybrid format, both in person and online, between October 30 and November 1, 2024, in Kuwait, through the collaboration of Gebze Technical University (GTU), Yıldız Technical University, and Australian University-Kuwait. The congress, chaired by Associate Professor Mehtap Özşahin from GTU's Faculty of Business Administration, focuses on the theme “Planning for Industry 5.0: Human-Centric, Sustainable, and Resilient Organizations,” with participants from 18 different countries.
The opening speeches were delivered by Prof. Lütfihak Alpkan, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security, and Prof. Isam Zabalawi, Rector of Australian University-Kuwait. The event also featured the participation of Tuba Nur Sönmez, the Republic of Türkiye's Ambassador to Kuwait.
The congress included a doctoral consortium aimed at PhD students and showcased numerous scientific studies on future human-centric, sustainable, and digital organizations. Additionally, the congress team joined the Republic Day reception organized by the Turkish Embassy in Kuwait, celebrating the 101st anniversary of the Republic with enthusiasm. |
