An introduction event to meet "ABS Alçı" and a presentation by Kilsan Tuğla, followed by a wall application workshop, are held at the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture, Gebze Technical University (GTU).
As part of the MIM 243 "Material Technologies in Architecture" course, an event to meet "ABS Alçı" took place on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 9:30 AM in the Orange Amphitheater of Block N. The event featured ABS Alçı Marketing Manager Eylem Oğuz, Senior Architect Pınar Akaslan Erdoğdu, Quality Support Service Supervisor Nihat Deniz, and Quality Support Service Specialist Sönmez Güloğlu. During the event, students were introduced to the properties and applications of various gypsum powders and plasterboard panel products, followed by a hands-on application session.
Similarly, as part of the same course, the "Kilsan Tuğla Presentation and Wall Application" event was held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 9:30 AM in the Orange Amphitheater of Block N. The session was led by Filiz Bulutlar, Business Development and Projects Manager at Kilsan, and Erdem Uslu, Product Manager. This event introduced students to the production, features, and applications of different types of bricks, followed by a practical workshop. The course was coordinated by Prof. Cahide Aydın-İpekçi, Associate Prof. Saniye Karaman-Öztaş, Research Assistant Rana Uzun, and Research Assistant Betül Alankuş from GTU's Faculty of Architecture. |
