A "Lab Coat Ceremony" has been held for the first-year students of the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science. In their speeches at the ceremony, Prof. Oğul Esen, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Prof. Serap Beşli, Head of Department of Chemistry, congratulated the new students who have joined the GTU family and emphasized their belief that they would achieve successful projects together. Representatives from the Chemists Association and ATABAY Pharmaceuticals also attended the ceremony, sharing enlightening information to guide the students on their path to becoming chemists. Subsequently, each student was invited to the stage, where the faculty members of the Department of Chemistry dressed them in their lab coats. At the end of the ceremony, a raffle was held, and four students were awarded internships at ATABAY Pharmaceuticals. We congratulate the students who donned their lab coats during the ceremony and wish them success on their career paths.
