Yarkın Yiğit, a student from Gebze Technical University (GTU), receives first prize for his thesis in the field of electronic engineering as part of ASELSAN Academy's graduation awards.
ASELSAN Academy, which adds a new dimension to the university-industry collaboration model, has celebrated its 2023-2024 academic year graduates. At the Graduation Ceremony held at ASELSAN Gölet, the theses of the graduates were evaluated based on their contribution to ASELSAN, academic benefits, and outputs such as articles and patents. The top thesis in each major was awarded accordingly. Among the theses in the field of electrical and electronics engineering, GTU student Yarkın Yiğit was awarded first prize for his thesis titled "Development and Application of a System for Automatic Tuning of RF Cavity Filters Using Robotics". Yarkın Yiğit and his thesis advisor, GTU faculty member Assoc. Prof. Engin Afacan, received their awards from the Deputy Secretary of SSB, Prof. Hakan Karataş.
