Abdullah Duman, a graduate of Gebze Technical University (GTU), and his team’s partnership, Agriverts, has been awarded in the "Most Innovative Precision Agriculture (Smart Farming) Technology Project" category at the Agri Plus Agricultural Innovation Awards held at Yaşar University in İzmir, thanks to their successes in TÜBİTAK and KOSGEB projects. With the strategic support of the GTU Technology Transfer Office, Agriverts continues to contribute to innovation and sustainability in agriculture.
The award, given by the Food, Agriculture, Beverage, and Agricultural Policies Research Center (GİFT) and Webagron Agricultural Publication Organ, was presented to Agriverts’ Agricultural Engineer leader, Ahmet Faruk Can Özkan, at a ceremony held on Friday, September 27, 2024. Agriverts aims to achieve global success in the vertical farming and greenhouse sector with its scalable technology-based business model.
