GTU scientists are ranked among the "Most Influential Scientists in the World" on Stanford University’s list, which features the most impactful researchers worldwide.
Another international success has come from Gebze Technical University, which continues to lead in science and research. Thirteen scientists from GTU are listed in Stanford's prestigious ranking. According to a study conducted by Stanford University on 7 million researchers across 22 main scientific fields and 174 subfields, a list of 223,152 scientists in the top 2% has been published, based on the Elsevier database. The list includes two different categories: "career-long impact" and "single-year impact", using international criteria such as the number of quality publications, the impact of the journals where the publications appeared, number of patents, number of citations, h-index, hm-index, number of articles, number of cited articles, and the impact of the journals published in.
