GTU is listed among the leading universities worldwide in impact rankings based on United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings for 2024, which evaluate universities' contributions on an international level to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, have been announced. Gebze Technical University (GTU) has demonstrated its commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by showing impact in 8 of the 17 goals. GTU is ranked in the 201-300 band for Climate Action and in the 301-400 band for Responsible Consumption and Production, placed among the universities in the top quartile worldwide.
GTU's rankings in specific goals are as follows:
Quality Education: 1001-1500 band Clean Water and Sanitation: 401-600 band Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure: 401-600 band Sustainable Cities and Communities: 801-1000 band Responsible Consumption and Production: 301-400 band Climate Action: 201-300 band Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions: 601-800 band Partnerships for the Goals: 601-800 band |
