GTU Industrial Engineering sophomore Oğuzhan Şenuysal and his team achieves first place in Türkiye and third place internationally in the Vodafone Campus Lab international finals with their project "Adaptease."
The team participating in the Vodafone competition included Oğuzhan Şenuysal from Gebze Technical University (GTU), Furkan Barış Beşik (Bahçeşehir University), Ecenaz Köse (Bilkent University), Ecesu Özçiftçi (Bahçeşehir University), Emel Kuş (Istanbul Aydın University), Rukiye Aydın (Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University), and Muna Hajiibrahim (Hacettepe University). The Vodafone Campus Lab international final was aired live online on June 11, 2024, from Athens, Istanbul, London, and Malaga.
Adaptease is a mobile application designed to facilitate the adaptation of official migrants or international students to a new country. The platform centralizes vital information to provide easy access for migrants to education, employment, and local services. Additionally, it promotes cultural integration by facilitating community support, social groups, and event reminders to help migrants establish local connections and feel at home in their new environment.
