GTU: Home to Academic Research with Global Impact

GTU has become home to influential academic papers worldwide in light of QS 2025 data, surpassing the global average in terms of the impact of academic research. The 2025 rankings for "QS World University Rankings," considered one of the most important university rankings globally, have been released. Gebze Technical University (GTU) has risen to the 1001-1200 band in the QS World University Rankings 2025. GTU ranks within the top 10 among public universities from Türkiye on the list, and it has demonstrated its global impact by ranking in the top four among universities from Türkiye in terms of citations per faculty ratio. In the evaluation of academic research with the highest impact on the list, GTU has exceeded the world average. London-based higher education ranking organization Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) evaluated universities in terms of 105 criteria including the number of international papers, academic reputation, number of citations, international research network, sustainability, and number of international faculty.
