At the GTU Congress and Cultural Center, participants showcased their designs in the foyer area and competed fiercely on the tracks. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the event, GTU Rector Prof. Dr. Hacı Ali Mantar mentioned the scope of robotics and automation worldwide, emphasizing its strategic importance for our country and its inevitable necessity in education. Regarding the event, GTU Rector Prof. Dr. Hacı Ali Mantar stated: "These Olympics not only provide a platform for you valuable young people to showcase your technical skills, but also allow you to gain insights into how these skills can be applied for the benefit of society. Here, the robots you produce will demonstrate an excellent display of both competition and innovation, each offering unique solutions and creative approaches in their respective categories."
The enthusiasm and intensity of participation here today are evidence of the interest in robotics and automation in our country and the importance of investing in this field. This large participation demonstrates that our event is not just a competition, but also a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences.
I sincerely thank every academic, our students in the steering committee, and supporters who contributed to the extensive scope of our event. Without your dedication and support, reaching this level of the Olympics would not have been possible."
