GTU has taken another important step towards university-industry collaboration by signing a protocol with GEBKİM (Kocaeli Gebze V [Chemical] Specialized Organized Industrial Zone).
The two institutions will together conduct R&D activities at GTU Technopark. Following the protocol, GEBKİM's Technology Development and Solution Center (GEBTEK) will take its place at GTU Technopark. Chemistry being one of GTU's specialized fields as a research university, the concrete steps towards university-industry collaboration have been increased thanks to the protocol.
