The Rover Team, consisting of GTU students, is preparing to represent our university and our country by participating in the European Rover Challenge to be held in Poland with their own designed robots.
The Rover Team, founded by GTU students to introduce robotic solutions to the problems of the future, will participate in the European Rover Challenge (2021 ERC) to be held in Poland on September 10-12, 2021.
Due to pandemic conditions, the competition will be held both online remotely and in the competition area (on-site). In the online competition, the teams will try to complete the tasks by uploading their own software to the robot that is available in the competition area. In the competition to be held in Poland, the teams will have to complete the tasks using the vehicles they have designed and produced.
The GTU Rover team has applied for the competition in both formats for the 2021 ERC. They successfully completed the preliminary design report phase in the online competition, and the simulation task, which is one of the tasks in the competition (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FTnHRWBUmY).
