As part of the “YOUrban” project supported by the EIT Community New European Bauhaus, a “YouGarden” community garden, aiming to improve access to natural food will be designed and implemented through the collaboration of Gebze Technical University and Çayırova Municipality. The workshop intends to establish active collaboration with students from GTU’s Department of Architecture. While enabling students to contribute to the built environment through their design skills, the workshop also aims to enhance their knowledge and competencies in the design and implementation of sustainable and inclusive public spaces. The workshop is open to all architecture students interested in the topic. The implementation phase will be counted as a compulsory office internship.
