Regarding the Architecture Department Student Representative Candidacy and Voting Processes

The Architecture Department 2024 Student Representative Elections will be held on Thursday, November 28, 2024.

Students who wish to run for the Student Representative position must submit an application to the Architecture Department Head's office with a petition by 4:00 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.

CANDIDACY REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be enrolled in at least the second year of the relevant department (first-year students cannot apply).
2. Must not be a member or hold a position in any political party organizations.
3. Must not have a criminal record for offenses that involve disgraceful crimes.
4. Must not have received any disciplinary punishment, except for a warning.
5. Must not have frozen their registration during the election period.
6. Must have a GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
7. Must not have any affiliation, connection, or relation with terrorist organizations.
8. Must not have exceeded the normal duration of study and must not have lost a semester or course due to absenteeism.

ELECTION PROCESS

• The voting location for the Architecture Department Representative elections has been determined as the Orange Amphitheater in Block N.
• Students who will vote are required to bring their student ID cards.
• Voting will begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 28, 2024, and will end at 3:00 PM.
• The student who receives the majority of votes from the participants in the election will be elected as the Department Representative.
• The election results will be announced on the Department’s website.
