Cafeteria
Our campus features three modern student dining halls, each with a capacity of 3,000. Every day, students are offered balanced, healthy meals prepared to home-cooked quality standards. Vegetarian options are available during lunch hours, and all meals are prepared by companies certified with TS EN ISO and Quality Management System standards. As of 2025, the current lunch price for undergraduate students is 25 TRY. Even when you are away from home, quality and affordable dining options are always within reach at GTU.
Cafés and Canteens
Our university offers a total of five canteens, cafeterias, and restaurants located in the Foreign Languages Department, Kelebek Cafe, Faculty of Business Administration, Computer Engineering, and Electronics Engineering buildings, as well as in the garden area, serving our students. Additionally, Güzide Cafe, affiliated with the municipality, operates on campus as an affordable alternative restaurant and cafeteria. These cafes and canteens cater to various tastes and budgets, offering snacks, hot and cold beverages, and daily meal options. The campus market is also open every day of the week, providing a wide range of products to meet your needs.
Sports Activities
Campus life at GTU is vibrant and active, featuring 2 artificial turf fields, 1 volleyball court, 1 basketball court, 1 outdoor tennis court, 4 indoor tennis courts, 1 outdoor football field, a semi-Olympic indoor swimming pool, a semi-Olympic outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, an indoor sports hall, and numerous other sports facilities. Whether you prefer individual or team sports, you can stay fit and healthy throughout your university life by engaging in various athletic activities.
Health Services
Our University Family Health Center provides family medicine services on weekdays throughout the day, staffed by two doctors and two nurses. Blood and urine testing services are available two days a week. Additionally, our Dentistry services are offered free of charge to students by our Dental Doctor. Psychological Counseling and Guidance services are also available, with support provided by our Psychologists for students who wish to benefit from these services.
Accommodation Services
Gebze Technical University offers modern KYK dormitories for both male and female students.
• The Muallimköy KYK Male Student Dormitory has a capacity of 1,545 residents, featuring rooms for 2, 3, 4, or 5 occupants, each equipped with a private bathroom, study desk, and mini refrigerator.
• The newly opened Nilüfer Hatun KYK Female Student Dormitory accommodates 1,764 students and stands out with its high-standard six-person rooms and numerous social facilities.
All dormitories provide standard amenities including 24/7 hot water, free internet access, meal support, security services, and social facilities.
Social Facilities
Every year on our campus, events such as Kelebek Ateşi (Butterfly Fire), Spring Festival, Sports Tournaments, Concerts, Theater Performances, Film Screenings, and Panel Discussions are organized to enrich the social life of our students.
Through the Young Boutique (Kızılay) service, clothing support is provided to students during the spring and fall semesters.
Within the campus, the Youth Office unit under the Ministry of Youth and Sports offers students an environment for education, relaxation, and study.
Additionally, the stationery and photocopy center located on campus serves all your educational needs.
Our university hosts 70 student clubs where you can actively participate in events and engage with companies through club talks and activities. Study rooms and workshop support are also provided for student clubs and competitive teams.
Domestic and international travel and tour programs are offered annually to students.
The Congress and Cultural Center on campus features 3 amphitheaters and 4 seminar rooms, allowing events with up to 5,000 attendees to be held simultaneously.
