Bootcamp on Sustainable Product Design in a Digital Age under the EIT Higher Education Initiative (A-SIDE) Project

Dear GTU Researchers,

Applications are now open for the “Online School: Sustainable Product Design in a Digital Age” program, which will be held online from 3–7 November 2025 as part of the EIT HEI Initiative – Alliance for Sustainable Product Innovation in a Data-Driven Economy (A-SIDE) project coordinated by Dublin City University and co-led by Assoc. Prof. Özgün Yücel from GTU Department of Chemical Engineering.

This international online school, organized within the framework of the EIT HEI A-SIDE project, aims to introduce innovative, Deep Tech–oriented approaches (in transportation, energy, and biotechnology) in the field of sustainable product design and to provide participants with a multidisciplinary perspective. The program covers topics such as emerging technologies, advanced materials, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the role of digital culture in innovation processes.

Participants will enhance their learning through mentoring support, practical assignments, and interdisciplinary case studies following the one-week intensive training. They will also have the opportunity to receive feedback during Business Communication & Student Pitch sessions. Participants who successfully complete the short quizzes at the end of the sessions will be awarded a certificate.
