The Ministry of Interior General Directorate of Provincial Administration's article on “Providing Awareness Training to 5 Million Men in Combating Violence Against Women” states that the “2022 Activity Plan for Combating Violence against Women” was announced to the public with the protocol signed by the Ministries of Family and Social Services, Justice, Interior, National Education and Health, and the Presidency of Religious Affairs on March 23, 2022. There are brochures, posters, and promotional videos linked below to fulfill the duties and responsibilities within the scope of the activity plan in full and on time and to ensure local cooperation and coordination.
Under the coordination of the General Directorate of Provincial Administration of the Ministry of Interior, at least 5 million men will be provided with basic information and awareness-raising training in the field of combating violence against women within the year within the scope of non-formal education and awareness-raising activities on the prevention of violence against women, which will be carried out in a male-oriented manner in 2022, in this context; Under the coordination of the General Directorate of Provincial Administration of the Ministry of Interior, videos, brochures and posters were prepared with the participation of the representatives of the relevant Ministries / Directorates, which are the stakeholders of the Activity Plan, within the framework of the motto #WomanCannotBreakHand.
