Information on the Integrated Master’s Program

1. What is the purpose of the Integrated Master’s Program?

The purpose is to support the academic development of successful students by allowing them to take graduate-level courses during their undergraduate studies, provide them with professional experience, encourage a smooth transition to graduate education after completing their bachelor’s degree, and save time.

 

2. Who can apply to the program?

Students with a minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00 or 75/100, who have successfully completed all courses from previous semesters/years, may apply.

 

3. When can I apply to the program?

Applications may be submitted starting from the beginning of the 7th semester at the earliest.

 

4. How many graduate courses can I take during my undergraduate studies?

Each semester, a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 2 graduate-level courses may be taken. These courses appear as “non-credit” on the transcript and are not included in the undergraduate GPA.

 

5. Can every student apply to any program?

No. Students may only apply to the integrated master’s program offered in connection with their enrolled undergraduate program.

 

6. Can students enrolled in International Joint Bachelor's Degree Programs apply?

No. Due to the attendance requirements of the program, these students may not apply to the Integrated Master’s Program.

 

7. What are the requirements for final enrollment in the master’s program?

After graduation from the undergraduate program, a minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00 or 75/100 is required, along with meeting the ALES score and foreign language requirements of the program for the related application period.

If these conditions are not met, final enrollment cannot be completed.

 

8. How is the number of students admitted to the program determined?

The quota is determined by the Senate upon the recommendation of the Graduate School Board and may not exceed 20% of the quota of the relevant graduate program.

10. Can I extend my undergraduate education?

No. Students are required to complete their undergraduate program within 8 semesters.

 

11. When must I enroll with the Graduate School after graduation?


Final enrollment with the Graduate School must be completed in the first semester following graduation from the undergraduate program.

 

12. What happens to the courses I have taken if I fail to finalize enrollment in the master’s program?

Graduate courses taken on a non-credit basis during undergraduate education will be converted into credit courses if the student fails to finalize enrollment in the master’s program.

 

13. How can I apply?

The application process is coordinated by a commission consisting of members of the executive committee of the relevant graduate program. Applications must be submitted to the relevant department.
