Dear Students,
For students who have applied for horizontal transfer with the central placement score (Additional Article-1) for the 2025–2026 Fall Semester and whose applications are under evaluation, the English Proficiency Exam will be held face-to-face on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, between 10:00 – 13:00. The exam will take place in the Main Building of the Department of Foreign Languages.
The duration of the exam is 180 minutes. The exam consists of a total of 80 multiple-choice questions covering Listening, Use of English, Vocabulary, and Reading. The exam will begin with the Listening section, and candidates who arrive late will not be admitted to the exam.
All students are required to bring their Turkish ID cards with them. International students must bring their passports.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Only students who applied for transfer with the central placement score between August 1–15, whose applications are under evaluation, and who do not have an exemption certificate are eligible to take this exam.

Students whose names appear on the exemption list and whose exemption documents have been accepted will NOT take the proficiency exam.
