24 September IAESTE English Proficiency Exam Information

Dear GTU Undergraduate Students,

Within the scope of the 2025-2026 academic year IAESTE programme, the important dates for the English proficiency exam for the international internship opportunity are as follows:

Written Exam: 24 September 2025 (10:00 – 13:00)

Oral Exam: 25–26 September 2025*

Registration is mandatory to be able to take the exam. Students who do not register will not be admitted to the exam. The registration deadline is 16.09.2025.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

 

  1. The registration procedures are handled by the International Relations Office. You should direct your questions about registration to cooperation@gtu.edu.tr

 

  1. Information about the building and classroom where you will take the exam will be announced on the Foreign Languages Department website after the registration deadline.

 

  1. The exam duration is 180 minutes. The exam consists of a total of 80 multiple-choice questions covering listening, use of English, vocabulary, and reading. The exam will start with the “listening” section, and candidates arriving late will not be admitted.

 

  1. All students are required to have their Turkish ID cards/student ID cards with them during the exam. International students are required to have their passports/student ID cards with them.

*Depending on the number of students taking the exam, the oral exam may be held on a single day. Information about the oral exam time and location will be announced after the written exam.
