Dear GTU Undergraduate English Prep Students,
The 2024–2025 Academic Year Spring Semester Undergraduate English Proficiency Exam will be held face-to-face on Friday, June 20, 2025, between 09:30 – 12:30. The exam duration is 180 minutes.
The exam includes a total of 80 multiple-choice questions, consisting of Listening (note-taking & while listening), Use of English, Vocabulary, and Reading sections. The exam will begin with the Listening section, and latecomers will not be admitted to this part of the exam.
All students must bring their student ID cards or T.R. identity cards to the exam. If the student ID is not available, a student certificate obtained from the student affairs office or via the e-Government system will be accepted. Foreign students must bring their passports. Students without any form of ID will not be admitted to the exam.

The list of exam participants and the buildings and classrooms where the exam will be held will be announced on our website by Thursday, June 19 at the latest. Please check our website regularly.

IMPORTANT NOTES
OUR FORMERLY REGISTERED STUDENTS DO NOT NEED TO TAKE ANY ACTION TO TAKE THE EXAM. THEY WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY ADDED TO THE CLASS LISTS.
Students who enrolled in 2024 but do not have a cumulative academic average of 65 or above, or who FAILED DUE TO ABSENTEEISM, CANNOT TAKE THIS EXAM.
You can learn your exam results through the Proliz Student Information System. Please note that it may take a few days for the results to be uploaded to the system. Remember to check the SIS regularly for your exam results.
