RESOURCES TO BE USED FOR OUR UNDERGRADUATE ENGLISH PREPARATORY DEPARTMENT STUDENTS
Dear students,
The books we will use throughout the academic year 2024-2025 are going to be purchased through National through Geographic Publishing. We recommend that you purchase the original textbooks that we will use in the lessons so that you do not have difficulty in following the classes, but the supply of books is completely up to students. Our university has absolutely no commercial expectations, profits or responsibilities from these sales. However, since there is only one regional authority for the sale of relevant books and any purchases made outside of this area may be pirated. For this reason, no book list will be provided. The purchase and use of books published illegally is against the law and constitutes a crime.
The books will be sold online for seven days between September 24 and October 1, 2024. On Wednesday, October 2, 2024 , you will be able to physically pick up the books you purchased online from the stand that MKKitap Sarayı will open in the GTÜ YDB main building. You can drop by this stand, which will be open between 08:30 and 16:30, and pick up your books in return for a signature. Since all groups, regardless of their English level (A, B, C), will receive their books at the beginning of the year, there will be no other book sales. All levels will use the books they received at the beginning of the year throughout the year (in two academic terms).

- After learning what level we are according to the results of the English Level Determination Exam held at school on September 23, 2024 ;
- September 24 and October 1, 2024 ;

- We click on the "Buy Now" button that appears.
- We complete the shopping by filling in the requested information.
- In the requested information section, we are required to fill in the address section for your online book sales to take place, but we do not deliver the books to your address via cargo, but rather we provide them from our school's foreign languages building.
- On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, between 08.30 and 16.30 Come to the Foreign Languages Department Main Building and physically pick up all your preparatory books that you have already paid for at the National Geographic stand with your signature.
IMPORTANT NOTE : Our department is not responsible for books that have been paid for but not collected from the stand. You should contact MK KİTAP SARAYI for the books that have not been collected on the day of the stand.

- Additional material to be used in class
In addition to your books, each level (ABC) will have additional materials to be used in class. After learning your level, you can obtain this material by printing it from Yeni Teknik Kırtasiye (across from Kelebek Cafe ) on our campus.
