Abstract

Iontek was founded in 1996. It is the first company that synthesized oligonucleotides and gave DNA sequencing & STR analysis services by capillary electrophoresis in Turkey. Company works under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certification and it has Full Quality Assurance IVD CE certificate. It was rewarded by Istanbul Chamber of Commerce: “Best Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise in Technological Application” in 2005. 4 R&D projects which were founded by Turkish National Science Foundation Grants in the fields of Bioinformatics and Molecular Genetics between 2006 – 2009 have been completed.
